Nirvana Ottermind

Nirvana Ottermind is arguably one of the greatest albums ever made, a real classic in the grunge underwater scene! The album cover itself is also an artwork in it’s own right. I’m not sure if you can really classify this as an otter meme but I love it all the same so it’s getting a space in the collection. Great Photoshop replication too! This is obviously a play on the album Nevermind, by Nirvana. Which, as it happens, is actually really good. One of my first albums in fact!

In this meme we see an otter swimming around and chasing some bank notes on a fishing line. It’s a copy of the Nirvana Nevermind album cover (their second studio album!) The otter replaces a baby in the original cover. I think there was some meaning to it all, but I don’t think I’d understand it well enough to explain it. Great band though.
